The first teacher at our Nolan Creek campus, Ms. Autry has been with Orenda since 2016. She started at Nolan Creek teaching first and second grade and then moved to math and science, grades 4-6. As our Nolan Creek campus grew, Leslie had the opportunity to teach her passion - art. She has been the K-8 Art and PE teacher for the last three years. Her art classes incorporate all facets of fine arts, including visual arts, dance, theatre, and music. Since the beginning of Nolan Creek, Ms. Autry has been involved in community events such as local parades for Christmas and July 4th, including building the Nolan Creek float. She is one of our Teacher Leaders this year through the TEA grant where she coaches and supports teachers on her campus. One of her peers shared, "Leslie is a constant in our school, always available to assist wherever a need arises."
